Everything you need to know about converting Markdown to Word.

Everything runs 100% in your browser. Your Markdown content is never sent to any server. The Word document is generated locally using JavaScript and downloaded directly to your device.

We support the full GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) specification: headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, links, images, ordered and unordered lists, task lists, tables with column alignment, fenced code blocks with language hints, blockquotes, and horizontal rules.

Code blocks are rendered with a light gray background, a blue left border, and a monospace font (Consolas). The styling makes code clearly distinguishable from regular text in the Word document.

Yes. GFM tables are converted to proper Word tables with borders, header row styling, and cell padding. Column alignment is preserved.

Yes. You can choose from three page sizes (A4, US Letter, US Legal), four font families (Arial, Times New Roman, Georgia, Microsoft YaHei), and three margin presets (Normal, Narrow, Wide). You can also set a custom file name.

Images referenced by URL in your Markdown (e.g. ![alt](https://...)) are included as links in the Word document. Word will load them when the document is opened with an internet connection.

The .docx file is compatible with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice Writer, WPS Office, Apple Pages, and any other application that supports the Office Open XML format.
